Happy Independence Day, Fellow Patriots. If those who are supposed to represent us are dependent upon (and beholden to) big-moneyed special interest, then so are we. There's a word for all that: Corruption. And to me, it's the only issue that matters in American governance, today. The framers of the Constitution would be mortified by what the system is becoming. But there is still time; hope abides. We the People can fix this, yes? Which side are you on?
