A "Legendary" Retraction

Of late, my favorite stage joke to tell goes something like this:
"...and you can get your ears on that song at our MySpace page. Is that correct, Ski? [Ski nods] Yes... You see, I wouldn't know as I am of legal drinking age, and am gainfully employed [Greg: bah-DOMP-bomp!]" But as of this moment, I take it back (even if I may still repeat the joke. After all, funny isn't always kind, but funny is always funny):

Subject: HOLY $h!t I JUST TALKED TO SLY DUNBAR AND ROBBIE SHAKESPEARE!

Have I mentioned that MySpace rocks? I sent out a note last night to all our MySpace friends saying we'd begun selling downloads and Sly & Robbie just responded asking for details!

With friend list including the like of George P-Funkin' Clinton, Elvis Costello, Erykah Badu, and Sly & Robbie, my life is pretty much complete. Just add Joni Mitchell, and lower me in the ground with a smile on my face.

Addendum:
MySpace is truly no joke. In part through it, BMB scored airplay on Sweet FM 89.4 - London's No.1 for Urban Flavours. Henceforth, I'll refer to the band as International Recording Artists, Blue Marble Beat.

I give, already! Uncle!
